We woke up Saturday and headed to see Grandma Sue before hitting the Frank Buck Zoo.
Jenn had the day off and was our personal zoo guide.....it was amazing!

I think this bear wanted to eat us. He came right up to the cage and stared us down!
Maddie didn't make a lot of reactions to most of the animals because either she couldn't see them or she was getting hot. Once we got to the feeding area with the goats she laughed a bit and would stick her foot out at them. We had to be quick with the stroller in case they wanted a nibble of her toes!
Jenn would jump into the cages and either wake up the animals or pick them up for Maddie to touch or see. It was really fun!

The best part of the whole zoo experience was getting to feed the giraffes. I had no idea how long and strong their tongues are! Everyone got in on the fun and Maddie just stared and stared at them!

After the zoo we hit a local Mexican restaurant and luckily Maddie slept in the car on the way back to the hotel. She never sleeps in the car but was overly tired. She was so happy to crawl around a bit before bed that night!
We had such a fun day!
