When Jacob asked me what I wanted to do to celebrate my birthday I said I wanted to go to the zoo as a family. Maddie hadn't been in awhile and Jacob had never been. I was excited to see what she thought of all the animals we see in her books and talk about.
After raining for 3 straight days all the animals came out so we could see them!
We got to see a tiger be trained, which was my favorite part
Maddie loved all the animals but didn't last as long as I was hoping and was asleep on the way home, which never happens.
It was a great day and the best part was hearing Madeleine saying "Hap Birfday Mama!" several times today. :)
