October Update

October has been a great month so far.  We aren't traveling at all and it has been so nice to be at home and relax on the weekends.  Here is a recap of our month so far!

Charlie is loving solids and is quite adventurous with what he is trying.  He likes real food more than purees, which means less work for me and he is shocking me with the textures (pasta, meat, large chunks of avocado and veggies) that he will eat and love!

When grandma was here we made juice-icles, which is what Chad and I used to love during the summer.  Maddie loved it too!

Every evening we have been outside enjoying our new patio and the great fall weather.  Maddie loves to help water my flowers and lately pick up pretty leaves and acorns

Our little school girl is doing great!  She likes going and we are told that she is happy and is doing well

Charlie has even eaten out a few times!

Madeleine's favorite thing to draw right now is sunshines and she is getting really good at her circles!

While Maddie is at school Charlie and I go to the gym and enjoy running errands

Samuel is one of the friends Madeleine made from her class.  We had fun playing last Thursday!

Last Friday Maddie's class walked across the street to the fire station for a field trip

Madeleine wanted to hug the fireman!

This little guy is so pleasant and is FINALLY sleeping better after his cold regression.  He is only up twice a night to eat now and is napping and eating consistently.  It is hard to keep him happy in the afternoons after his nap because he is not loving his jumper or exersaucer and isn't totally stable sitting up.  Hopefully  this phase will pass quickly.

Dada and Maddie have been playing a lot of golf and she is loving hitting balls into the yard

We can't wait to get pumpkins and get ready for Halloween!
