On Wednesday August 17th Maddie had her 2 month appointment. The pediatrician was happy with her stats and how she was holding up her head.
Here are her stats:
Weight: 10lbs 11oz (50%)
Height: 22.5 (25%-she's a shorty like her mama)
Head: 15.25 (50%)
Maddie was due for 2 shots and a liquid vaccine, which they dropped into her mouth no problem. She screamed after the shots but calmed down after a bit and slept for awhile when we got home. Here she is after we got home (you can see one bandaid but she actually had 2 one on each thigh).
It wasn't until late afternoon that I really noticed a difference in Madeleine. She woke up screaming and didn't calm down for 2 hours. I gave her Tylenol even though she didn't have a fever and after 45 minutes it kicked in. Ugh. She fell asleep shortly thereafter and was fine for the rest of the evening and the next day. Poor girl!
