When I first hear those squawks and cries around 6:30-7 am my first thought is how tired I am. Then I realize I don't have a choice so I get up and head to the nursery. I get Maddie up and head downstairs to turn on the coffee. As I'm nursing M and starting to wake up I realize it isn't so bad. It's quiet.....only the 2 of us are awake and I realize this peaceful time is nice.
After she finishes we hang out for about a half an hour until she gets sleepy and I put her down for a nap. We talk and smile and sing songs.
Madeleine is very stretchy. I think she stretches about 10 times after each nap!
I cherish these moments while Maddie is so little!
