We decided on a whim this last week to head to southeastern Ohio to see a majority of my family. It was the perfect opportunity to stop and spend the night with Grandma Marti along the way. We had a great evening and morning at her house where Daddy played the piano with Miss Madeleine.
We got up Saturday morning and headed to Morgan County to hang out with Great Grandpa for a bit.
After a nap and a visit with family (we also had fun seeing the cows, which Maddie thought were funny) we headed over to Chuck and Sue Ann's and then Lynne and Jeff's for a cookout.
We had a great time and even got to see Grandpa a bit on Sat night and Sunday morning before we hit the road for Chad and Dana's. It was the perfect pit stop for us all to get out of the car and eat before we got back in the car and drove the additional 2 hours. It was so fun to see Will and Maddie together.
We had a great time seeing so much family even though it was a short trip. It's perfect because now we're back home and still have a day to relax and hang out. I see some pool time in our future as it's in the 90's today!
