Yesterday Jacob and I went to Lexington with our pastor and his wife and our friends the Kippenbrock's. Our first stop was Woodford Reserve were we sampled some bourbon and enjoyed the fall colors.
Our pastor got us into the Thoroughbred Club, which meant great seats and we could stand on the rail.

We headed up to a box to sit a bit and enjoy the view
I decided we needed to make use of the parasols at least for a few photo ops and if felt nice to get out of the sun!

Jacob wasn't doing so well but placed a bet on the last race without telling us and he won!
The paddock was full of people
We had a great time and decided we like Keeneland a lot better than Churchill Downs.
