Here is our Christmas tree this year. It is almost 10 feet tall and nearly touched the ceiling when we brought her in. It is the tallest and skinniest tree we have ever had and it fits perfectly in our corner. After we put Maddie to bed on Saturday night we decorated the tree....both excited to see her reaction on Sunday morning.
It was nice that we had Dylan's baptism, which was later than the church service we usually attend so Maddie got to hang out with the tree a bit before church. When I brought her down the stairs and pointed to the tree she said "woah" and wanted to go touch it. We put all the unbreakable ornaments on the bottom and she has done really well.
She really isn't terribly interested in the tree, which is so nice. I love that she gets excited when she sees it but after touching it for a minute she moves on to something else.
It definitely is the prettiest tree we have had yet!
