Madeleine experienced a first Wednesday night (6/22) as did Jacob and I. With several strong storms moving through the area we headed to the basement as the tornado sirens were going off repeatedly. Jacob and I hadn't taken cover from a storm since we both were kids and certainly not with 4 pets and a baby.
Luckily Maddie slept through most of it!
We actually headed down there twice and neither time was there anything more than just some rain and lightening. We were glad to not have to stay up late (we're pretty tired these days) nor get up in the middle of the night.Thankfully we had a great night last night and Jacob and I are feeling pretty good this morning!
