My mom left today so we are officially on our own. It was so great to have her here to help out with whatever we needed help with. She did a lot of cooking, laundry, and baby holding while Jacob and I rested.
We are lucky because Madeleine will grow up with 3 wonderful grandmas!
For the most part Madeleine is a wonderful baby and we are very blessed to have a little girl that really doesn't cry much. However, there have been a few evenings where grandma stepped in and saved the day!
Most of the time, Oliver was at her feet "helping" to calm his new little sister.
Thank you for all your help, mom! We will definitely miss you!
